Over twenty years in management, and customer service taught me one thing above all else; how to truly listen to what someone needs and deliver it. But I had always felt the pull of something more rooted than the corporate world. When the opportunity came, I took the leap without hesitation.
What followed was hands-on work at a large tree nursery- side by side with homeowners, landscapers, and contractors -solving real problems on real properties. Privacy. Shade. Fire damage. HOA battles. Family orchards. Projects large, multiphase, and quietly extraordinary. While working at the nursery, I pursued my Design Certification through SRJC's horticulture program and discovered my unexpected passion for water management and irrigation.
Mission and Values
DreamGrow exists because homeowners deserve an exclusive designer who is completely accountable to their vision, not to an installation schedule, a maintenance contract, or a preferred plant vendor. As a design-only consultancy, I have one job- to create a vision and a concept plan that actually works, makes sense and is the essense of who you want to be within your space and e
My accountability doesn't stop at your property line. Every design I create carries a responsibility to the land itself — to the water table beneath it, the pollinators that depend on it, and the ecosystem that surrounds it. I believe that a truly beautiful landscape is also an ecologically honest one: one that works with California's climate rather than against it, that chooses plants with purpose, that allows water to move through the soil the way nature intended. Sustainability isn't a feature I add to a design. It is the design.
Dreams of the Future
The future of DreamGrow reaches beyond individual properties. I'm working toward merging permaculture principles with beautiful, livable landscape designs in a residential space.
I also believe deeply in the power of this work to change lives. Gardening and landscape design work is a healthy and deeply meaningful career path. I'm committed to helping connect at-risk youth and foster children to that possibility. Growing a community's relationship with its land starts with teaching people that the land belongs to them, too.
That's the longer vision. For now — it starts with your yard.
